An 18-year-old male has died after being struck by a GO Transit work train in Toronto’s east end, leaving family, friends, and members of the community grieving following the tragic incident.

Emergency crews were called to the rail corridor near Woodfield Road, close to Danforth Avenue and Greenwood Avenue, at approximately 11 p.m. Tuesday after reports that a pedestrian had been hit by a train.
